Better performance with new hardware
Good news for all of you: we finished the migration to our new servers. Both 21Publish and 21Classes are now running on faster and better servers, so the performance should be better when accessing your BlogPortals. They're now powered by Intel Core2Duo processors and have 4 gigs of ram each.
Availability is now more than 99% with less than 1 second response time per request. And we're working on performance-tuning longer-taking pages as well, to become one of the fastest blog services on the net.
Moving to new servers
Today we are moving to our new servers. Due to our increased traffic and sign ups we felt its necessary to come up with additional hardware before the service gets slower. Just the best for our users. Also, you should not notice any downtime except a transition phase of about 5 minutes or so.
For our customers using domain mapping this also means to change the IP address. Thus, instead of using the old 67.18.152.130, please change this to 84.16.235.20.
